Last Sunday evening was one of the better potluck quest nights we’ve had in quite a while. Since Devin was still without a computer, it was another outing for the four remaining good fellows of darkness. A potluck quest night is just one of those nights where everyone gets together and looks at what quests they share, or what quests they need some help with, or just whatever seems easy. On this particular Sunday, our little field trip first took us to Netherstorm, an area of Outland that appears to be a bunch of huge purple floating rocks with big quartz crystals sticking out of them. We did some quests in and around Manaforge Ultris, but got bored with it fairly quickly. Once the quest was done, we moved on to the Blade’s Edge Mountains, where we then proceeded to Bash’ir Landing for some quest that involved giant pink balls, and hey, that doesn’t happen every day.

We had just killed a Shivarra when I took this shot. I was feeling a little odd at the time, because there was this giant blue skinned six-armed reference to the Hindu Devas on the ground in front of us, and everyone was just going on about their business.

I felt like I had killed India or something. She just looked so beautiful and tragic. Yes, I am a goofball.

I took this great shot of Pythag, which was nice since Bob doesn’t usually stay in one place long enough for me to get a really good shot. I love the eye patch.

Since Devin wasn’t there, Scotty stepped up to the plate and created our bizarre moment of the evening: after being turned into a radioactive leper gnome by yours truly, he got got caught in this decorative cage. I had managed to get in and out just fine, but the thing was like a leper gnome roach motel. I laughed very hard.
The evening was a success as far as we all were concerned. We kicked butt and got some pretty sweet drops. What more can you ask for?

Mayhem and Scotty go together like peanut butter and jelly. I just discovered that we are having dinner with friends on Sunday, so I may be slightly delayed.
